Commission Board InformationApplications to the CommissionWhen considering an application, the Rural Planning District Commission requires complete information in order to make the best possible decision on applications such as temporary uses, similar to and compatible uses, variances, rezonings and subdivision approvals. Please note that all applications distributed to the Commissioners for a scheduled meeting become part of the public record and are available to any member of the general public who may ask to view it. As well, the Commission may distribute this information to other interested parties, such as the appropriate Local Service District Advisory Committee and those people living adjacent to the proposed use. The following information must be included in all applications to the Rural Planning District Commission: - An application signed by the applicant. If the applicant is not the legal owner of the property, then a form designating the applicant to act on behalf of the owner, or a valid offer to purchase the property must be submitted by the applicant.
- A tentative site plan drawn to scale showing the name of the application or plan, proposed lot(s), the dimensions of the lot, the scale of the plan and the north arrow, the area of any remnant and the dimensions of remaining road frontage.
- An air photo of the property.
- Any man-made features such as houses, sheds, driveways, wells, septic tanks, and power lines, drawn to scale.
- Any significant natural features such as streams, wetlands as delineated by a wetlands specialist, trees and slopes.
- Encumbrances on the property such as 30 metre buffer strips around watercourses and wetlands, service easements, set-back lines and right-of-way.
- A map showing the location of the property in relation to surrounding streets and communities.
- A description of the adjacent roads indicating ownership and the condition of the traveled portion of the road.
- A Service New Brunswick (SNB) property map.
- Photos of the site with a map showing the locations where the photos were taken.
- If an application involves a use of land, a detailed description of the proposed land use.
